Generating citations in PsycINFO is relatively easy. You can retrieve the citation for a work from the Results list or from the Detailed Record of a work.
To generate a citation from the Results list, click on the three dots to the right of the record and choose "Cite" from the drop down menu. To generate a citation from the Detailed Record of a work, click on the quotation marks in the upper right-hand corner of the detailed record.

A pop-up box will appear asking you to choose a citation format (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.) from the drop down menu. You can then copy the citation to your clipboard, or highlight the citation and hit Ctrl + C to copy.

There is also an option to export the citation to a citation tool of your choice (EasyBib, RefWorks, Zotero, etc.). Visit our General Citations Guide for more information on citation formats and citation management tools.
