Welcome to the duPont-Ball Library research guide for Health Sciences!
This guide links to the library's research tools focused on health science topics.
Library research services are available for additional research assistance. Here's how you can reach out to a librarian who will be happy to answer your questions and help you find the information you need.
Reference books are helpful for exploring the background, historical context, and terminology specific to a field of study. Reference materials (e.g.: handbooks, encyclopedias, dictionaries) are available in both print and ebook formats. Additionally, the Credo Reference Works database is an interdisciplinary collection of reference materials searchable by broad topic area and/or keyword.
All of the reference books listed below are located on the main floor of the duPont-Ball library. If you need assistance locating these titles, please ask for help at the information desk.
