What is RefWorks?
RefWorks is an online research management, writing and collaboration tool designed to help you gather, organize, store and share citations as well as instantly generate bibliographies.
Benefits of using RefWorks include:
- The ability to collect & organize citations: Gather your citations with the click of a button from online sources like our electronic databases and Google Scholar. You may also add citations manually. Organize your citations for multiple projects, search your citations for a particular author or title and display your citations in a variety of style formats.
- Access citations online: Access your citations online from anywhere by logging in to your Refworks account. Link to the full text of online articles directly from your RefWorks citations, when available.
- Create Bibliographies and Format In-Text Citations: Insert properly formatted in-text citations as you type using Write-N-Cite as well as automatically create bibliographies using your discipline’s citation style.
- Share your citations: Using RefShare, you can share your citations with others.
