A Virtual Exploration of the Americas (MFA session)

This guide will help us focus on the resources available to MFA Creative Writing candidates. Its purpose is to enrich the MFA experience.

Welcome

Welcome to this "Virtual Exploration of the Americas!"
Due to the cancellation of the 2020 MFA session in Mexico City, the library has decided undefined
to treat you to a virtual adventure. This guide will feature resources from the
Americas which you may access anytime and anywhere.

A few good things to keep in mind as we go about our adventure:

“Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us,
or we find it not.” -
Ralph Waldo Emerson

“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.”
-
Henry Miller

The above selfie with Hunter and the MFAs should have
been taken at Mexico City's Angel of Independence

Mexico City

We will start our tour in Mexico City.
