The American Civil War is known by many names: War Between the States, War of the Rebellion, and the War of Northern Aggression. What is not subject to interpretation is that it spanned five long and bloody years, from 1861-1865, and ripped the nation apart.
The duPont-Ball Library offers abundant resources, in various formats such as books, e-books, primary sources, and digitized publications, for researching the Civil War. The Library's materials cover every aspect of the war: political, military, and social.
