Locating an Item Once You've Looked It Up
When you find an item in OneSearch, your results will look similar to this:
Status= This will let you know whether you will be able to find the book on the shelf, whether it's been checked out.
Location= What building/branch has a copy of of this item. In this case it is the "Main" Library, which is the duPont-Ball Library and in the Shelves area, which are open for browsing.
Call Number= The Library of Congress call number is the item's address in the building. Once you're inside the building, you'll need the call number to locate the item. See the "Library Maps" link below to see where your items are located in the building. There are also print maps posted around the library to assist you. If you should have any questions or need help finding an item, please do not hesitate to ask at the front desk.
