Scores defined

Musical score

In a library setting, score refers to printed music.

Most online vendors refer to all printed music as sheet music.

In a library, sheet music refers only to loose, unbound music, which the duPont-Ball Library does not have.

Search for scores using OneSearch

Start with OneSearch. 

Click on the Scores icon, enter keywords, then choose Stetson from the pull down, and click the search icon.

Search Results

The results show flute and piano scores that our library owns. Note that the filter is set to Musical Score and Stetson University.

Choose from list of results

The results list shows the title, author(s), the item's status (Available, Checked Out, On Hold, etc.), the location (Shelves or Miniature Scores or Chamber Music or Oversize Music) and the call number. 

Both of these scores are Available and located in Shelves in the M call number section.

Click the title to see a Contents list, a list of subjects, and more information about the item. This item includes scores and parts.

OneSearch description subjects


To see more works with the same combination of instruments, click on the Subjects link Sonatas (Flute and piano) Scores and parts. That starts a new search, so you may need to limit results under Library to Stetson.
