Downloading ebrary eBooks

Instructions on how to save chapters and how to download books to your iPhone, iPad, Android device or tablet, Kindle Fire, or Nook.

Create your ebrary account

The Library's Ebrary Book Collection contains more than 150,000 books.

Ebrary allows you

  • to search and download the contents of e-books in the collection.
  • Selections, chapters and/or page number ranges may also be downloaded and saved to an ebrary account that you create for this purpose.

To create your ebrary account, access the Ebrary Book Collection.

Connect to the Stetson Network

If on campus, you must be connected to Stetson's Wi-Fi Network in order to access an e-book from the Library's ebrary collection. To connect your iphone device to Stetson's Wi-Fi network tap the Settings icon, open Wi-Fi and choose either the Student or Faculty/Staff.

Remote access is available. If you are working from an off-campus location you will need to follow the Off-Campus Database Access instructions below:


ebrary’s free app gives you an optimized way to experience authoritative content – both online and offline – from multiple sources, including the library's ebrary e-books from leading publishers and documents uploaded with DASH!™ (Data Sharing, Fast).  You can also import your own PDF documents – outside of the ebrary platform – through the app itself.
