Step 1: EBSCOhost ebook detailed record

The Library's ebooks are provided by EBSCOhost and ebrary. Both types of ebooks may be downloaded for offline reading, but have different requirements for this purpose. In order to download EBSCOhost ebooks for offine reading you will need to create a "My EBSCOhost" account.

EBSCOhost ebooks have distinctly identifiable records in the Library Catalog. 

The catalog record for the ebook entitled An Introduction to Classroom Observation by E. C. Wragg is displayed above. When you click on the URL link the detailed EBSCOhost record for this book will open for reading and downloading.



    Step 2: Create a "My EBSCOhost" account and an Adobe ID

    In order to download an EBSCOhost ebook two initial set-up procedures are required. First, you must sign into to your  "My EBSCOhost" account.  Second, you will also need to create an Adobe ID if you don't already have one.

    • Setting up your personal "My EBSCOhost" account
      Click on 'Sign In' at the top of the EBSCOhost ebook detailed record. Here you can choose the option to create your personal EBSCOhost account.
    • Adobe Membership
      Click on "Don't have an Adobe ID?" Fill out the form to create one, using your Stetson email address as your username is recommended. Remember to make a note of the your password, you will need these credentials to authorize your laptop or mobile device.
