Returning items to the library
Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary loan (ILL) materials can be returned to the library. When the library is closed, use the book drop on the library’s front porch. If you are unable to return these items, contact circdept@stetson.edu to make other arrangements.
Equipment
Please do not return equipment in exterior book drop. Bring all equipment -- laptops, cameras, tablets, microphones, webcams, etc -- into the building to return them. If you are unable to return a piece of equipment during the library's open hours, contact libadmin@stetson.edu to make other arrangements.

On Campus
Books, journals, magazines, and musical scores may be returned in the book drop on the library’s front porch. Items deposited in the drop will usually be checked in within 24 hours. Delays may occur based on library hours.
Off Campus
Books, journals, magazines, and musical scores can be shipped back through the mail. Media Mail, through the U.S. Postal Service is a cost-effective way to ship these items back to the library. Please pack items securely with adequate packing material to keep the contents from shifting. Single or smaller items may be returned in a padded envelope.
Our mailing address is:

By using the Media Mail Service by the USPS, educational items may be shipped back to the University at a relatively low cost. The service does take a bit more time to reach its destination, but with tracking you will be able to ensure that these items are on their way and reach the library. The service is available for shipping educational and research items.
Media Mail shipping rates are significantly lower than other mailing options through USPS. A stack of 8 books weighs about 11 lbs. The cost for Media Mail Services is $8.14 shipped to/from Miami, Florida, central Alabama or San Diego, California.
