Databases

Web of Science
Database with journal articles on a wide variety of topics. To limit results to physics journals, click on "Web of Science Categories" and check the box next to Physics.
Science & Technology
Database with journal articles as well as books, news, magazines, etc. covering both applied and physical sciences.
Science Direct
Database with journal articles from health and life science disciplines.
PubMed
Database with journal articles from biomedical and life science journals.
BioMed Central
Database with journal articles from biology, biomedicine, and medicine.
ArXiv.org
Database with journal articles from physics, mathematics, non-linear science, computer science, quantitative biology and statistics.

bioRxiv
Search for pre-prints (articles that have not yet been published) in the life sciences.

Google Scholar
Google Scholar searches the web for scholarly sources. Sync results with library holdings by going to settings --> library links --> search for Stetson. This is a great way to search for citations you've found in other articles.
