New York Times Digital Edition - Academic Site License: How to use it

How to sign up for a NY Times account using your Stetson credentials.

New York Times logoStetson students, faculty, and staff can access The New York Times Digital Edition through an Academic Site License provided by duPont-Ball Library.

Follow the instructions in the box below to get an Academic Pass to register for an account.

Get your pass to create an account

Create Account

  1. Click the link above to get started
  2. You will be redirected to the NYT welcome page.
  3. Click "Create Account” and complete registration fields. Use your Stetson email address to register.
  4. After registering, go to from any web-enabled device and login to get full access.

Already have an account

  1. Click the link above to get started
  2. Click "Already have an account? Log in here"
  3.  Log in with existing NYT username / password
  4.  If you are a student, you will need to enter your graduation date
  5. Your digital access will be restored and you can navigate directly to from any web-enabled device. Be sure to login to get full access.

Please note:
Your Academic Pass is good for 364 days from the date you activate it; after it expires you can register again for a new pass for 364 days.

Academic passes do not include e-reader editions, Premium Crosswords or The New York Times Crosswords apps. NYTimes apps are not supported on all devices. Access to archived articles within the date range 1923-1980 is limited. You must have a valid email address from a participating organization.
