Copying and pasting a URL from the address bar in your browser does not work all the time depending on the database. Instead look for the option to send a link or for a permalink.

Links need to include proxy information to work from off campus. A link that begins with will provide access from off-campus. However, depending on the database, a permanent link may have some of the proxy information included in a different part of the URL.

OneSearch Links

One of the easiest ways to provide a link is to use the link in OneSearch. The link will bring a user to the OneSearch record for the item and the user will need to click on a link to get to the full text. Off-campus access is built into OneSearch.
