Laptops - 1 day loan or 4 hour loan
The library laptops use Windows operating system, and can access the full Microsoft office suite using your Stetson credentials. You are not able to download any additional programs onto the device. Any files or shortcuts saved to the device will be deleted at check-in, and any account information will be removed. For your safety and security, please do not save any passwords to these devices.
The library has 20 laptops for checkout for individuals with a valid Stetson ID, and those that have a completed Equipment Loan Agreement on file.
- 7 laptops are for use in the library for 4 hours.
- 13 laptops are available for 24 hours.
Please note: if you do not return a laptop, you will be billed for the amount of money it will cost the library to replace the laptop and the charger. Laptop replacement costs typically run $1200 plus $100 for the charger.
