If you'd like to read an objective description on your topic, try looking for an entry in a specialized encyclopedia. Encyclopedias typically provide an overview of accumulated knowledge and do not put forth new findings or ideas. They are usually most appropriate as a starting point for your research and do not replace scholarly articles and books.
