Tablet checkout, policies, and basic information to get the most out of your time with your tablet.

Available Apps

The library has pre-installed the following applications on all iPads.

Using Your Personal Account

You may use your personal Apple ID  to access iTunes and download apps. Any items downloaded to the tablet will be erased once the tablet is returned, but will still be available to you via your iTunes account.

To use your personal account:

  1. Click the Settings app
  2. Click "iTunes & App Store" from the list on the left
  3. Enter your Apple ID and password

If you have an iCloud, you can set up access to your account:

  1. Click the settings app
  2. Click "iCloud"
  3. Enter your icloud account information

Please note that if you set up an iCloud account on the iPad, you will be asked to delete the account from the device before returning it to the Circulation desk.

Personal Responsibilty

When checking out a tablet you assume all responsibility for it. If the tablet is lost, damaged, or stolen, then you will be required to pay for a replacement. All fees will be billed to your library account.
