An open access publishing model that combines payment for reading access and payment for publishing into a single contract is called a Read & Publish Agreement or a Transformative Agreement.
The duPont-Ball Library at Stetson University is part of three such agreements (as of April, 2025). These agreements waive publishing fees for DeLand campus Stetson authors who wish to publish in open access.
