Business Law Overview

Businesses are regulated and governed by a range of laws that exist to provide a framework for fair and proper management and operation of their activities, and to deliver protection to all stakeholders including customers, managers and employees. This film covers a range of legal aspects of business including consumer protection, employee rights, health and safety, intellectual property, privacy and financial reporting. It highlights interviews with a selection of experts in various fields including Neil Willard from Cardiff University, solicitors Jonathan Bashforth and Ruth Smith, European Patent Attorney Richard Howson, Managing Director of Sold Out Software Garry Williams and Tax Manager David Goodchild. It also features street interviews.
