NEFLIN Grant - Marketing Resources to Faculty Project

Describes the NEFLIN Marketing grant received by the duPont-Ball Library in 2017 and the resulting project.

Project Overview

In 2017, librarians at the duPont-Ball Library were awarded a grant from the Northeast Florida Library Information Network (NEFLIN) to enhance and develop marketing strategies in the library.

Specifically, the focus of the grant is to develop a marketing campaign to highlight specific services to new faculty and FSEM faculty, such as:

  • Ask-a-Librarian Research Services
  • Library Contact Information for Course Syllabi
  • Research Assignment Design
  • Information Literacy Instruction

Additionally, information on library research services will be marketed to resident advisors (RAs) in the residence halls.

Our goal is for faculty members and RAs refer students who are struggling with research to our Ask A Librarian Research Services.
