Claritas/Nielsen target market data

The library's SRDS Media (Standard Rate and Data Service) database provides circulation data and advertising rates for newspapers, magazines, billboards, radio, TV,  the internet, online video, and even tablets. In addition to providing advertising rates for print, broadcast and online media, the database includes Claritas and Prizm data that enables you to create target market reports and maps. Demographic and lifestyle data can be combined to create market profile reports by state, DMA (Designated Market Area) or by county.

Select the link to "Claritas Segmentation & Market Solutions" located in the left-hand pane of the home page as show below to access the demographic data and create market profile reports.

 

  • The links located in the "What is Claritas 360?", "Claritas 360 Calculations Guide," and "Demographic Update Methodology" explain how to create demographic reports by state, DMA, county and target audience. Data is updated annually. Consumer profile data is collected from 200,000 adults.
  • When you are ready to create a report, click on the purple tab labeled "Login to Claritas SMS"
