IL Tutorials

• Tutorials created for First Year Seminar or provide help to use a resource
• Investigated existing tutorial options. Subscribed to Niche Academy. 21 tutorials added. Will present to participating faculty in late summer

IL Workshops, stand alone

• Need to develop workshops that connect to ACRL Framework concepts
• Piloted 2 workshops in spring 2022. Positive feedback about topics. Students requested early evening time frame. More workshops needed

Writing Center Tutor Training

• Before the pandemic, the library provided a library orientation workshop for tutors.
• Met with Writing Center Director to plan scope of IL training for tutors. Met with tutors to get feedback about plan. Will adapt existing orientation to include IL information

Student Employment & Career Services

• Met to discuss potential overlap between IL and National Association of Colleges and Employers Career Readiness Competencies and career exploration goals.
• Will determine shared goals and plan future activities.

QEP support services and resource needs for faculty. To support faculty engagement with the QEP, the library faculty member on the QEP Leadership team designed and delivered the IL portions of the 2-day course redesign workshop. She will provide IL feedback to participants, delegate course guide creation, and co-facilitate participant meetings.

QEP support services and resource needs for students. To enhance students’ IL learning, the QEP will highlight existing library services and resources. The library has also been tasked with developing new support services and resources. A part-time librarian position was created to support these efforts. A subscription to Niche Academy was started to integrate IL tutorials into the campus LMS (Canvas).
