Why Use WorldCat Local?
A real advantage of this database is that a listing of books and other materials (government documents, videos, musical scores) at the Stetson Library will come up first, followed by worldiwde library holdings. Also, you can obtain the call number of the item and whether it's in the Library or checked out.
WorldCat is the database on which WorldCat Local is based. WorldCat does highlight items held by the Stetson Library, but does not include complete call numbers and shelf status (availability in the Library).
