Accessing online resources
You must be connected to Stetson's Network in order to access any of the electronic materials referenced in this guide. If you are not working from a campus-connected computer, see Instructions for Library Access from Off Campus:
The article linked below describes the conceptual framework and historical overview of the discipline.
Using the Library's One Search
Use the Library's OneSearch (www.stetson.edu/library) to find books, videos, articles published in scholarly journals, trade journal articles, newspaper articles, case studies, dissertations and more. The 'Advanced Search' screen is recommended to refine the results.
The OneSearch is a good place to start your research, but be mindful of the fact that not all of the library's database resources are included. See the database descriptions under the "Journal and newspaper articles" tab to find additional sources related to your research.
Changing the drop-down menu to "SU Subject Terms" focuses the results more precisely on your topic.
Notice the "Limit To" box located on the left-hand side of the screen. Checking "Catalog Only" limits the results to books, ebooks, videos, government documents and other resources that are available in the library.
In the search example shown below, the "Video" checkbox was selected under "Source Types."
