Information Literacy Instruction

Overview of information literacy instruction services available to Stetson faculty.

What is the Framework?

Information Literacy isn't just about learning how to search a database. The Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education, created by the Association of College and Research Libraries in 2015, identifies 6 threshold concepts that act as portals to understanding, thinking about, & practicing information literacy.

The slides below, created by librarians at Bucknell University, summarize each of these 6 concepts. Click here for the full text of the Framework.
