World Development Indicators Database: How to Search It

Instructions for searching the World Development Indicators database

Getting Started - Technical Issues

It is recommended that you use the Mozilla Firefox browser to search this database. If you are going to be using Internet Explorer and plan to download data to Excel, you must adjust the setting on your workstation as directed in: http://data.worldbank.org/about/faq/technical-problems before starting your search.

You must be connected to Stetson's Network in order to access any of the Library's subscription databases. If you are not working from a campus-connected computer, you will have to enter the network through a proxy server. See Instructions for Library Access from Off Campus.

Getting to the Database on the Library Web Site

Go to the Library’s Databases page

In the alphabetical list of all databases (center column), scroll down to, then click on World Development Indicators.

On the World Development Indicators home page, in the “Resources” column on the right, click on the blue “DataBank” button.  This will bring you to the search screen.
