How to find books, articles, and videos in the library

Where The Books Are

To find where collections and call numbers are within the library, see:
The shelves of the duPont-Ball Library are color coded with each subject area having its own color. See the list of subjects and colors below:
If we do not own the book, submit an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Form:

Other Libraries

To find books and other cataloged materials in thousands of libraries worldwide, use the WorldCat database:

Library Catalog

To search the complete collection of books (print and electronic) owned by the library, go to the library's home page and click on Library Catalog tab in the center menu.

To get both print and electronic books, type your search term(s) in the Quick Search Box and click on Search. To find books a general topic search on Keyword. To find a specific book search on Title or Author.

 

Advanced Search

The Advanced Search allows you to search on multiple terms and formats.

To get print books only, change the Type box to BOOK. To get electronic books only, change the type box to E-BOOK or EBOOKREF(electronic reference book).
